Day One
Location : Three miles north of the middle of nowhere.
Perhaps I should have made a wiser decision on where to hide for the night. An abandoned farmhouse in the middle of nowhere isn't exactly the safest place to hole up.
Especially not with those damn things wondering around. At least there's a T.V. hooked up here.
Most of a T.V., anyway. At least it works, and it gets the news.
That's all that matters for now.
But damn it, boredom takes a heavy toll on a person after a few hours.
The news keeps saying that cannibals are walking up and down the street, ripping open peoples necks and smashing their skulls.
Time flows by
Crystalline
And with my eye
I spot the sigh
that set it all awry.
Night slinks by
Dull sanguine
Untill that time
That will flow by
So brightly, the sun will shine
A blazing sign
Fossilizd
Of danger long behind
predicting the whine
in due time
of which, we all shall die.
Some long time back ago, a few friends of mine were all sitting around out in their backyard, bored and starving. Now, we weren't just hungry for food, we were cravin' us some burgers, so we decided to be smart, and wheel his grill out from the shed, right into the tall grass.
Perhaps that wasn't the best place to put a grill, but we were teenagers. That means we were pretty stupid. And we aren't exactly what you would call 'intellectually based' either. And, we were hungry.
So then, we somehow thought that it would be the best idea ever to douse everything in gasoline. By our 'brilliant' teenage logic, more gas means bigger fire, and bi
If you forbid me from writing I'll die
Although my stories make even me cry
Can't even write worth a dime
Screw up every time
Yet persistent as always I still try.
You cower in fear, you lock up inside,
while his hideous laughter flays you alive,
run upstairs, go hide in your room,
his mere presence hath spelt your doom.
Hide under your covers, cower in the night,
while he delights, from your perilous fright,
nowhere to cower, now the hordes come,
Left with no place to hide, and nowhere to run.
We did everything with each other
we were even closer then brothers
Together we sat, watching the sky
letting the whole world, drift right on by...
There, we ran, whilst our laughter echoed
our joy, how extravagant, it showed
Ran like the wind, beneath the moon
I just wish you didn't leave so soon...
That crash, it made my whole life stand still
bringing you back, was my only will
Alone, now I sit, watching the sky
praying that all, would leave me behind...
Chains of Darkness, they bind us all,
misfortunate enough to fall.
The distant lights, with us, they toy,
gone is our hope, as well, our joy.
Bound is the soul, paying it's cost,
except to the chains, stranded, lost.
Misfortunate souls, gone from all,
who did nothing, nothing but fall.
The blinding fires, burning bright,
strengthen the damned, embrace the light!
Barren, be the pit in the floor,
chains of dread, restrain me no more.
